Angelia first started dancing for her varsity dance line back when she was in middle school. She was one of the youngest to make varsity dance line in the school’s history. From there she came to Heartbeat Studios and was intrigued by all the dance styles. Angelia worked her way up into all the Sr. Company classes and Sr. Academy. During her senior year academy program, she choreographed a group modern piece and solo. After graduation, it was a natural fit for her to teach the Broadway Dane Line as well as jazz and modern classes.
Angelia is extremely grateful to have been a part of Vox Medusa Dance Company since the age of 16. With Vox Medusa, she has been in multiple productions including, traveling abroad to Barcelona Spain, Persephone (also with Infiamati Fire Circus), and more recently, Labyrinth, Casting Shadows, Rune, and Medusa (also partnered with Infiamati Fire Circus), that have been a hit as a part of the MN Fringe Festival.
Angelia received her Master’s in nutrition in 2015 from the University of Minnesota and is now a Registered Dietitian. In addition to teaching at Heartbeat, she is a CrossFit coach with CrossFit Calypso in Farmington, MN.
